SUNAINA (Society for the Upliftment of National Arts of India), in colaboration with SPOWAC (Society for the Promtion of Women and Child welfare), Delhi Kalyan Samiti and Delhi Tamil Sangam is going to organize the 10th Edition of "Indradhanush Dilli, A Festival Of Arts" this year between 8th to 13th of November 2017, over 4 venues in New Delhi. SUNAINA is headed by Guru Smt Kanaka Sudhakar, who specializes in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi styles.
The venues and programs for this year are as follows -
1. Delhi Tamil Sangam – which will hold competitions of folk dance, bollywood, mono act, one act, Classical Vocal, Filmy Music, Instrumental, painting & dance & theatre workshops +grand award ceremony distributing around 500 awards + seminar on art and global harmony
2. Vishwa Yuva Kendra - which will hold all classical dance competitions, with national participants
3. Karnataka Sangh - which will see a Youth Choreographers Festival and the Guru Samman Award
4. Lok Kala Manch – which will have a performances by kids between 5-14 and the awarding of Baal Nritya Samrat

The main aim of SUNAINA is to preserve and promote Indian Classical Dance traditions and to maintain and promote Indian heritage.
Guru Kanaka Sudhakar takes this art form not only as a cultural entertainment but also as a means of women empowerment. Today more than 50 dance alumnus of Nrityabharati are posted in prestigious academic school as dance trainers, working as successful freelance choreographers, posted with the govt embassies and cultural representatives and have opened their own dance training academies. Aparajita Sarma, Renuka Iyer, Sapna Attavar, Upasana Gagneja, Sri Lakshmi Nair, Tripti Kalra are just a few names in the list of empowered women from SUNAINA.
Dr Mahesh Sharma, Minister of Culture, Mr. Manish Sasodia, Deputy Chief Minister, artists Charu Sinha and Shilajit Singh, Kiran Sehgal, Aditi Mangal Das are among the noted dignitaries who have confirmed their participation so far for this years Indradhanush Dilli festival, with many more expected to confirm later. Media houses like Hindu, Indian Express, Statesman, Tims of India, Dainik Jagran, Hindustan Times are some of the publications who have covered the event in the past and are expected to do so this year too. The total footfall is expected to be in excess of 50,000 people. SUNAINA will also print and distribute an official Indradhanush Dilli magazine covering the event.
