Mrs. Sohani Hossain has bagged the 'Women Achiever Awards' for 'Business Inspiration in South Asia 2019' . Indian Women Convention 2019 & Women Achiever Awards & Recognitions, the platform where Women Leaders, Women Consultants, Women professionals from across the industry came together with a learning and networking motive, concluded on 25 May, 2019 at The Radisson, Gurugram, Delhi NCR. The convention had industry leaders, including professionals from across India. The conference was hosted by the Wafisilpa Entertainments.

She plays a pivotal role in running the group companies which are Universal Food Products, Universal Unani Pharma, Universal Oil Mills ,Universal Pharmaceuticals ,Greener Rice Mills, Greener Masala Mills, Ananta Cinema Hall , Rupkatha Cinema Hall , Rupkatha Kobbo, Parena Cinema Hall ,Taranga Packaging, Taranga Entertainment, Ratnodwip Resort Ltd .



She is the founder of Sohani Hossain alternative school for Dalit , Pabna and Mobarak Hossain Ratna Medical College Hospital (Proposed).



She has been honoured at 147th Dada Saheb Phalke Award , From Mumbai India, For Special Contribution on Social Welfare(2016), 15th Mother Teresa International Award From Kolkata, India, For Special contribution on Social Welfare (2015), Indo – Korean Taekwondo International Award, From Kolkata, India and 8th Small Business Award 2019 ,Hall of Fame New Delhi, India.



She is winner of National & International Awards for Social Activity & Poetry Publications, Like Chokh Sahittya Puroskar-2014, Bangla Academy, Kolkata, India, Bangladesh Cultural Reporters Association Award, 2017, Nabachetana Shangskritik Kendra Award-2015, Bangladesh, Pet Wellness Society Award-2016, Kolkata, India.



She has authored Bidai Chhutipur, Shunnorekha, Maa ebong Onnanno Golpo.



She Wrote many songs, which os signed by Bangladeshi Famous Singer James, Bappa Mazumder Momotaz, Samina Chawdhury, Belal Khan, Kona, Imran, Puza, Rafat, Shuvamita(India) & others writer of the Bengali film “Swatta”: The eternal Entity Cast: Paoli Dam & Shakib Khan, Directed by Hashibur Reza Kallol.
