Kiehl’s since 1851 has been committed to the betterment of the communities popwhere it serves its patrons. In particular, Kiehl’s globally supports three types of charitable organization:

· HIV/ AIDS awareness , prevention and education

· Environmental conservation and sustainability

· Children and community outreach programs

Since its inception in India, Kiehl’s has continued to work at the local level to support organizations in its community. In celebration of the brand’s 169th Anniversary, Kiehl’s India , with its long history of standing for social causes and CRY, in its four decade- long journey to make it a better place for children, have come together for the brand’s campaign #HealTheScars for the year 2019. Both Kiehl’s and CRY believe that One Child Less At Work Is One Child More At School. The campaign aims at reducing child labor and sending around 6500+ underprivileged children back to school.

Kiehl’s will donate $2 of each unit sold of its bestseller Ultra Facial Cream to CRY India to support the cause. With Kiehl’s customer-centric heritage and decades-old commitment to local communities, this year Kiehl’s India will focus its philanthropic endeavors for the cause of child labor and children education rights. “We are very happy to associate with Cry India for this noble cause and hoping to encourage our customers to realize the importance of giving back” added Shikhee Agrawal, AVP, Kiehl’s

On 28th March 2019, Kiehl’s organized a fun filled carnival for children at one of CRY’s project area - Swati – A unit of Rajiv Neelu Kachwaha Public Charitable Trust in RK Puram, Delhi. Over 100 children came together for a day with Kiehl’s and enjoyed the many activities organized like storytelling, zumba class, hair braiding and hand painted. At the centre, Kiehl’s also conducted a painting competition based on the theme “What Makes You Happy” where all the children participated. Out of the 100 paintings received, Kiehl’s shortlisted a painting by Sameer and has now incorporated it as the label for its best seller Ultra Facial Cream.
