Aware Gleneagles Global Hospitals, a Parkway Pantai Enterprise has come out with a Dignity Card for senior citizens which will provide special healthcare services to them. The new initiative would ensure that the senior citizens visiting the hospital are entitled for a 20 % discount on OPD consultation in addition to discounted diagnostics and in-patient services.



This apart, the new initiative would ensure that the senior citizens are accessing additional privileges such as, complimentary basic health check-up along with free consultation, free registration, and a special invitation for well-being initiatives of the hospital.



Speaking on the occasion Mr Girish Babu, Chief Executive Officer, Aware Gleneagles Global Hospital, L. B. Nagar, said, “We believe in providing dedicated and compassionate care for the elderly. Senior citizens are worthy of all the care and attention. We understand their distinct needs and the launch of the dignity card will cater to the healthcare needs of the elderly.



Mr Girish mentioned that the key issues faced by most of the people in Indian healthcare are quality treatment and cost of medical services. He said further, “Distribution of this dignity card to the elderly is a first of its kind, and is an attempt to address the needs of the elderly people to offer a convenient and affordable healthcare solution. We will make sure that our teams of skilled and sensitive experts are available round the clock for the card holders.”



It may be noted that there is a significant increase of the elderly citizenry in India’s population. It is essential for all the elderly people to be proactive in maintaining good health and Dignity Card is an initiative of Aware Gleneagles Global Hospital to make medical treatment affordable for them.
