Commenting on the growing incidences of neurological problems amongst people, Prof (Dr.) VK Jain, Senior Director – Neurosurgery, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, shared, “Backbone-related issues are mainly due to bad posture as it directly affects the spinal cord, leading to back pain. By adopting a healthy lifestyle (controlled diet and appropriate exercise), most of these spine-related problems can be prevented. Unfortunately, most patients choose to live a sedentary and inactive lifestyle. With the OPD launch in this region, we aim to provide patients an access to best quality care, without the inconvenience of travelling to Delhi.”

Neurosciences OPD is scheduled to be conducted every 2nd Saturday of the month at Ford Hospital by Prof (Dr.) VK Jain.

“By partnering with Asthalok Hospital, Ford Hospital and Medipark Hospital, the unit is able to spread out to more patients in the city. We have already established ourselves as a tertiary care facility by virtue of having state of the art technology and a blend of the finest medical and surgical skills but now our focus is to cater to the people in other cities so that the quality of life becomes better. Our hospitals are equipped with the state-of-the-art infrastructure, operation theatres, highly qualified nursing and support staff along with internationally trained clinicians who are among the best in the country.” Said Sharad Saxena, Senior Vice President & Unit Head – Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket.
