Periyar University, Salem, one of the leading state universities of Tamil Nadu, has announced the launch of an online learning portal www.periyaedu.in which will offer high quality undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in multiple domains. The University announced this as an initiative to expand its offerings in line with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP2020).

The learning shall be a mix of Live learning supplemented with finest quality course content, study guides, practice tests, discussion forums, recorded tutorials and gamified modules.



Through its learning portal periyaredu.in, the University will offer MBA, MSc in Mathematics, MA with specialisations in English and History and Masters in Commerce, to help learners from across the globe prepare for management careers. periyaredu.in will also offer Bachelors of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts in English to aspirants looking to get into business management and literature as a domain, respectively.

The launch of periyaredu.in will open the gates for higher Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in Higher Education which currently stands at 27.4%.
