Delhi’s Aditya Babbar scored an All India Rank 2 in the recently declared results of the Delhi University’s Joint Admission test (DU-JAT). Around 20,000 students from all over the country had appeared for the computer-based admission test in pursuit of admission to undergraduate management programs at Delhi University, which was held in two shifts on 27th September 21.



This year the test was conducted by Delhi University in collaboration with National Testing Agency (NTA) and the results were announced on 28th October 21. Aditya, who studies in Hansraj Model School is a student of Pratham Test prep, who with this milestone is eligible for admissions to the prestigious institution Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. This year 17 of the total top 25 students are from Pratham Test Prep who have meritoriously cleared the BMS DU exam.



DU-JAT is the Delhi University’s most sought admission test conducted annually for management programs like BMS/BFIA/ BBA (Economics). Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT) is annually conducted across 18 cities for admissions to six stipulated colleges, offering Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), and eight other colleges which offer B.A. (Hons) in Business Economics and BBA (FIA) programs at DU’s affiliated institutes.



DU-JAT, BMS DU Entrance Exam becomes special because it is the only medium to get admission to the management program offered by Delhi University. This Management program is offered by 9 colleges, of which Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies is the topmost institution. It also offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis). The eligibility criterion for taking this test is that it is compulsory to have Mathematics at class 12th level. One gets admission to this course on basis of the marks scored in the entrance test (65% weightage) as well as marks secured in class 12th (35% weightage).

The purpose is to shortlist students for admissions to undergraduate management programs. This test is the only medium to get admission to top colleges in DU for management programs makes it one of its kind special. The final admission will be for the top 1162 seats across the 15 institutes that offer these courses.



This year the level of the paper was much moderate. Aditya Babbar expressed his gratitude towards his teaching faculty and dedicated the success to them. He thanked all the faculty at Pratham Test Prep for their constant support in the preparation and being there whenever he was required to clear doubts. He further states that the regular mock tests mimicked the actual paper, which he believes had helped him a lot during his practice.
