Jaipuria School Of Business, Ghaziabad, in collaboration with Indo-Gulf Marketing Association, Dubai, organized a one-day virtual International Marketing Conclave on the theme ‘Marketing Disruptions in the Digital Era’ on Saturday, February 19, 2022. The event was live at www.jaipuriaevents.com.



The inauguration ceremony was attended by more than 2,500 participants including corporate guests, academicians, industry experts, entrepreneurs and students.



Prof. (Dr.) Tapan Kumar Nayak, Director, Jaipuria School of Business, in his welcome address elucidated how digital transformation has taken place over the last 2 decades, and how educational institutions are bridging the skill gap among the students to adapt to the changing environment. Mr. Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions stated his views and insights on the theme of the International Marketing Conclave 2022. Mr. Jaipuria highlighted the marketing disruptions happening worldwide. He said, "The traditional notion of product and service-oriented marketing is now giving way to a customer-oriented marketing in which brands are continuously discovering new ways to connect with customers and providing personalized buying experiences."



The keynote speaker, Mr Satya Upadhyaya, Vice President - Campaign Optimization, Marketing Capability & Change, Citibank, Australia, brought new insights on the theme by laying stress on customer experience as the way forward for marketers.



The Chief Guest of the occasion was Ms. Nadia Touil Louis, Head of Digital & eCommerce – Asia, Oceania, Africa – Nestle. She emphasized on the adoption of human aspects into technology to make marketing more impactful.



The vote of thanks was delivered by Prof (Dr) Mohanlal Agarwal, President, Indo-Gulf Marketing Association, Dubai.



The first panel session was on ‘Marketing Innovations In The Digital Era’. The panellist included Mr. Sudhir Zutshi, Director Policy & Strategy, New Initiative, South Asia at UL, Mr Ashish Patel, Managing Director, Morgan Franklin Consulting USA, Professor Satya Bhushan Dash, professor of Marketing IIM Lucknow, Mr. Rishikesh Patankar, CEO of CSC Academy and Chief Operating Officer at e-Governance Services India Limited.



The second panel session was on ‘Holistic Marketing In The Digital Era’. The panellists who discussed various issues on the Holistic Marketing included Prof. William Koehler, Dean of Regis Business School, Greater Boston, USA, Mr. Vinay Maheshwari, Executive Director and CEO, Sakshi Media Group India, Mr. Faizan Ahmed, National Head of Digital Transformation (Revenue) of The Hindu, India, and Dr. Mohan Lal Agarwal, President of Indo-Gulf Marketing Association, Dubai.



In the Valedictory Session, Guest of Honor, Mr Nitin Sharma focused on how digital disruptions are making a mark in the healthcare industry and how students can prepare themselves for changing environment.



The entire International Marketing Conclave witnessed an enthusiastic response and participation of people from the marketing lobby, reverent academicians, management students, industry leaders, business experts and entrepreneurs.
