The development of children's growth mindset exercises is crucial to their social and emotional growth. As teachers, we are responsible for assisting students in their overall development. As a result, they have the mental and emotional skills necessary for success in life. Teachers must help learners develop a progressive attitude to do this. Students with a growth mentality can accomplish tasks and master challenging abilities.



Manav Rachna International School organized an incredible event focusing on the significance of a growth mindset and how by adopting it, a student would be able to overcome difficulties and challenges in their lives.



•The general belief that your knowledge, abilities, etc., may advance and evolve is regarded as a growth mindset.

•The primary concern of this exemplary event was to highlight how a growth mindset forces us to overcome negativity and constraints.

•Through the help of growth mindset activities, students were made to understand how they can overcome any setback or difficulty to attain their objectives with a growth mentality.



Giving children the endurance and strength, they'll need to create a difference in their lives and the life of anyone they encounter is a terrific method to help them cultivate a growth mindset.



A child with a progressive mentality will develop into a grownup who's not burdened by failure and is eager to learn and improve. A growth mindset enables students to transition into adults with optimism, adaptability, and aspiration.



To boost students' energy and active participation, the activity coordinator highlighted, "Don't worry about failure. Worry about the chances you miss when you don't even try".



The teachers started the event with a mantra card activity. Creating mantras your kids may repeat to themselves may appear simplistic, but they can be a valuable tool for promoting a growth mentality. "You are beautiful," "you could do this," "keep it up," "never quit," and "you’re tougher than this" are just a few of the slogans that students were instructed to write on notecards. Additionally, students were asked to personalize the cards and put them in a visible spot when they needed encouragement.



Another activity followed by a mantra card was Changing Phrases. All the students enthusiastically participated and were delighted to learn new things. The activity coordinators told the children about the activity and how it should be performed. This was one of the great activities in which students were asked to write down a few assertions like "I give up," "I can't do this," or "I'm not good at this." Later on, they were instructed to change these phrases into statements that would highlight the growth mindset assertion. This activity was initiated so that students with fixed identities learn how to complete similar tasks independently.



Teachers had put all their efforts into making this activity session beneficial for students and embraced the "learning through playing" approach. The other activity was situation worksheets. This activity was to teach children the distinction between a fixed mindset and a progressive mindset. Teachers distributed worksheets in which students were given a few situations, and spaces were provided for answers. This activity aimed to gain insight into the child's viewpoint and attitude.



Regardless of their age, children should be taught how to foster a growth mentality. They have a better chance of succeeding academically if they do this, and they will also learn how to handle challenging situations and concepts in life. A student with a growth mindset thinks that talents may be acquired through effort and dedication. One is open to learning and constructive criticism when adopting this approach. Students who have a growth mentality are also more open to experimenting.



This activity session with students was a successful event. These engaging and participatory classes encourage a growth attitude in students and help them develop their skills inside and beyond the classroom. Teachers praised each kid for their enthusiastic engagement in activities and participation.
