National College of Ireland has recently announced a new campus in Dublin, a timely move for this independent higher education institute which has been growing significantly in the past few years. This campus expansion will provide students a chance to enhance their skill set through advanced courses at their state-of-the-art facility, located at the heart of Dublin's technological hub.

NCI currently houses close to 700 Indian students across bachelor's and master's programmes. The new campus will add to NCI's footprint in Dublin's IFSC (International Financial Services Centre) which is home to global companies like JP Morgan, Citi, KPMG and PWC. This additional space will allow the College to continue to deliver on its mission to 'change lives through education' and will allow for more teaching classrooms and learning spaces, a significantly expanded Library, dedicated ELI spaces, and administration support. The new campus is expected to be fully operational by September 2023.

Commenting on the launch at a reception in New Delhi, Professor Gina Quin, President, National College Dublin said, "NCI has a strong historical bond with India through our thousands of Indian alumni. So it gives us great pleasure to visit and meet our many partners and colleagues to launch this new campus. The new Spencer Dock building greatly increases our footprint in Dublin City Centre. It will significantly enhance the learning environment for all our students and enable us to continue to offer cutting edge, industry focused programs in computing, business, and education." Also present for the reception was Robert Ward, Director of Marketing and Recruitment at NCI.

NCI has introduced two new courses in 2022 under the school of computing namely - M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence for Business which became available to students starting January 2023. The most recent addition to NCI's course offerings is the M.Sc. in Accounting program available under the school of Business.

Professor Quin added: "At NCI we pride ourselves on supporting our international students, not just in their academic work, but in areas like career development and their whole personal wellbeing when they come to study with us." The college offers students support services that are world-class, including their international office, which is dedicated to the needs of international students. It provides students a vibrant campus life with a chance to join societies, sports activities, volunteering, and social events that encourages them to be a part of the community. Moreover, with accessibility to some of the biggest multinational companies, the institution provides the best opportunities available in the market.
