Institute of Management Studies (IMS Noida) recently organized a series of impactful events aimed at empowering students' skills and critical thinking abilities. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Kulneet Suri, Senior Director of IMS Noida, these events successfully enriched the students' educational experience.

IMS Noida is proud to announce the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA), furthering their commitment to sustainable development. The signing ceremony, held in the presence of Mr. Ashish Jain, Director of IPCA, and Dr. Kulneet Suri, Senior Director of IMS Noida, also marked the launch of the "Race to Zero Waste" campaign, emphasizing the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) framework.

During the highly anticipated inaugural program, Dr. Kulneet Suri expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, shedding light on the innovative initiative. IPCA aims to introduce a cutting-edge composter at IMS Noida, which will efficiently process wet garbage, transforming it into valuable organic fertilizer. This advanced machine will play a pivotal role in effectively converting waste into environmentally beneficial resources.

To address critical social and health issues, IMS Noida successfully conducted an impactful anti-drug awareness program. The primary objective of this program was to empower young minds with knowledge and understanding of the detrimental consequences associated with illicit drug use. The event featured engaging activities such as poster making, slogan writing, thought-provoking discussions, and an oath-taking ceremony.

Dr. Kulneet Suri, Senior Director of IMS Noida, passionately addressed the attendees during the program. She emphasized that smoking and substance abuse are fundamental causes of tuberculosis and various other harmful diseases. In particular, she highlighted the link between tobacco consumption and cancer development, underscoring the significance of raising awareness on these critical issues.

"Active participation in a wide range of events is strongly encouraged to foster personal growth, enhance skill sets, and expand networks," stated Dr. Kulneet Suri. "Each event offers unique opportunities for students to learn, connect, and contribute to the vibrant fabric of their educational journey."

Dr. Suri further added, "Participating in events allows students to explore diverse interests, discover new passions, and push the boundaries of their comfort zones." By immersing themselves in various events, students develop invaluable skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and time management, enabling them to thrive in their academic and professional pursuits.

IMS Noida remains committed to providing exceptional learning experiences that empower students and equip them for a dynamic and challenging future. Through these events, the institute aims to nurture well-rounded individuals who can positively contribute to society.
