Noida, 8th Oct.2023: The Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) recently hosted a five-day mime workshop conducted by the esteemed actor and mime artist, Banwari Lal Jhol. The workshop was specifically designed for students pursuing Acting at the renowned institution.



Mime, often regarded as an intricate art form, delves into the exploration of gestures and facial expressions, ultimately enhancing one’s acting skills. Banwari Lal Jhol, a distinguished figure in the Indian entertainment industry, shared his expertise and insights with the eager students, providing them with a deeper understanding of the nuances of mime and its application in acting.



Banwari Lal Jhol, known for his notable roles in both television and movies, has carved a niche for himself by portraying supporting and comedic characters. Some of his prominent works include movies like “Manjhi: The Mountain Man,” “Monsoon Shootout,” and “Apmanit.” Additionally, he has also made significant contributions to projects such as “Bir Baba Hindu,” “RamLeela,” “Ssshhhh… Koi Hai,” and “Veer-Zaara.”



The mime workshop by Banwari Lal Jhol proved to be an enriching and enlightening experience for the aspiring actors, providing them with valuable tools to improve their craft and creativity.
