Swiggy (Swiggy Ltd, NSE: SWIGGY / BSE: 544285), India’s pioneering on-demand convenience platform, partnered with the Delhi Traffic Police to conduct a Road Safety Awareness Session and Bike Rally for delivery partners at Chilla Border, Noida Link Road. The session and rally were organized under the ambit of Delivering Safely, its road safety charter. The session and rally were organized as a part of the Delhi Police Week being organized from February 16-22, 2025.



At Chilla Border, under Mayur Vihar Traffic circle, delivery partners participated in an interactive session which was designed to encourage safer, proactive driving habits, reinforce the importance of adhering to traffic regulation and reducing risky behaviours through better time and route planning. Additionally, a bike rally was also organized. This initiative was led by the DCP Eastern Range Traffic, Sh. Rajeev Kumar IPS, ACP Traffic East District - Shri Dinesh Kumar, along with Inspector Devendra Tomar, TI Mayur Vihar and other traffic officials who provided invaluable training and guidance to the delivery partners. As part of the initiative, Swiggy distributed 110 helmets amongst various delivery executives and police officials to further reinforce the importance of road safety.



Speaking about the initiative, DCP Eastern Range Traffic said, “Ensuring road safety is a shared responsibility of both citizens, and the police alike, and awareness programs like the ones conducted by Swiggy for its delivery partners help create a culture of responsible driving. This session and rally on following road safety regulations, traffic rules, and informing delivery partners about the penalties for violations help ensure that more and more delivery partners follow the rules and are delivering to the consumers without risking their safety.”
