Noida, India – 2025: In a landmark move to strengthen the landscape of creative and vocational education, the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC) and the AAFT International Skill Development Council (AAFT ISDC) have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at promoting skill development across 18 specialized segments in creative arts and sports.

The partnership will harness the combined strength of both institutions to create dynamic learning platforms, vocational opportunities, research-based advancements, and international collaborations in sectors including film, television, journalism, performing arts, fine arts, fashion, design, animation, photography, law, business, data science, AI, tourism, hospitality, digital media, interior design, and sports.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder-President of AAFT and Chair of both IFTRC and AAFT ISDC, emphasized, “We are committed to nurturing talent that is globally competent yet culturally rooted. This collaboration is a natural alignment of our shared vision to empower youth through skill-based education, innovation, and industry-integrated training.”

Established in 1993, AAFT is recognized as India’s oldest skill development institution in the field of creative arts, having trained over 35,000 professionals from 145 countries. IFTRC, on the other hand, is the largest research centre in India dedicated to film and television studies, spearheading academic and creative innovation in media and entertainment.

This powerful alliance is expected to open new pathways for research, curriculum development, skill certification, and international exposure for students and professionals alike.

The collaboration will also focus on international seminars, workshops, exchange programs, and youth engagement initiatives to build a more robust ecosystem for global creative talent.
