Venkateshwar International School successfully organised TEDx Venkateshwar International School on 23 December 2025, reaffirming its commitment to fostering dialogue, curiosity, and idea-led learning. Organised under the leadership of Ms. Pratishtha Sharma, with Ms. Divyanshi Prabhakar as Co-organiser, the event brought together voices from diverse professional backgrounds, giving students a chance to hear lived experiences, engage with practical perspectives, and reflect on real-world challenges and personal growth.

The programme commenced with a Welcome Address and introduction of the speakers, setting the context for TEDx Venkateshwar International School hosted on the theme "Present in Purpose, Purpose in Present." The theme encouraged reflection on how presence and intention shape everyday choices and long-term direction. In her address, Ms. Pooja Sharma, Vice Principal at Venkateshwar International School, spoke about why curiosity, courage, and critical thinking are essential in shaping confident and independent learners who remain grounded in purpose. This was followed by the first TED Talk by Dr. Shweta Tanwar, who reflected on her journey in scientific research and healthcare, sharing real-world learnings and highlighting why evidence-based thinking plays a critical role in informed decision-making.

Students later heard from Mr. Himanshu Tandon, who spoke about leadership through everyday choices and real professional situations. Mr. Tandon said, "Leadership is not about having all the answers but about making informed choices and standing by them. When students learn to think clearly and act responsibly, they are better equipped to face challenges with confidence and integrity."

A cultural performance was presented, followed by a talk by the Honourable Guest, Ms Anita Nayyar, based on her professional experience.

Mr. Pulkit Sharma's session drew a strong response from the audience as he spoke about his experiences in the creative field. He said, "Our limitations do not define us, our mindset does. Platforms like TEDx allow young people to recognise the power of self-belief, individuality, and expression, which are essential for personal and creative growth."

The programme also featured talks by Ms. Sonia Arora Sood, Founder and Chief Creative Director of the Karabi Art Community, and Mr. Tapas Das Mohapatra, Co-Founder of Possiblers and Leadership Coach, along with a solo instrumental performance that offered a reflective pause. The event concluded with a closing address by Mr. Rakesh Khatri, popularly known as "The Nest Man of India", who encouraged students to think about their role in caring for the environment. This was followed by the felicitation of the organising team by Dr. Manisha Sharma, Principal at VIS and Ms. Pooja Sharma, bringing the programme to a close.

TEDx Venkateshwar International School stood out for its strong emphasis on inclusivity and representation, reinforcing the belief that ideas transcend limitations and that every voice has the power to inspire meaningful change.
