The ISACA Foundation has opened its next cycle of the global ISACA Scholarship Program, continuing its commitment to broaden access to education and career opportunities in high-demand digital trust fields, such as cybersecurity and IT audit. Eligible students pursuing these fields worldwide, particularly those who may not have traditionally had access to opportunities in the tech industry, are encouraged to apply now through 3 November 2026.

Formerly known as One In Tech, the ISACA Foundation has awarded more than US$1.5 million in scholarships to more than 800 students since 2022, including 229 students last year. More than half (51 percent) of scholarship recipients identify as women, and 41% are first-generation students.

Scholarship recipients receive funds for higher education and an ISACA Career Building Bundle, which connects students with the global ISACA community and provides resources to support long-term career development—including access to professional networks, certification preparation resources and mentorship opportunities with experienced IT and cybersecurity professionals.

New this year, scholarship recipients can continue their learning beyond receiving the ISACA scholarship by participating in an ISACA mentorship cohort designed for students. Individuals will be paired with an ISACA mentor and have guided conversations supporting leadership and career growth.

The ISACA Foundation offers scholarships through two annual application cycles, supporting undergraduate and graduate students at different stages of their academic journeys. Scholarships are available to eligible students globally, with specific eligibility criteria varying by award. Scholarships range from US$500 to $5,000.

“Through the ISACA Foundation scholarships and the support that accompanies them, the Foundation is committed to helping more students build the necessary skills, connections and confidence to pursue meaningful careers in cybersecurity, IT audit, and other digital trust fields,” said Sara Hill, Senior Manager, ISACA Workforce Advancement Programs.

The Foundation continues to expand the reach of its scholarship offerings by partnering with ISACA chapters and corporate supporters worldwide. This year, the Foundation has grown its global reach, increasing total representation from 29 to 41 countries worldwide.

“Creating a stronger tech workforce requires intentional investment in access, representation and career development,” said Julia Kanouse, ISACA Chief Membership Officer. “The ISACA Foundation, as well as ISACA’s academic partnership programs, helps open doors for emerging professionals while cultivating the diverse perspectives organizations need to meet tomorrow’s challenges.”

The program’s impact has been recognized by the broader association community. In 2023, the ISACA Foundation received a Power of Associations Gold Award from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) for its work increasing access to cybersecurity degrees. The Foundation is also a member of the National Scholarship Providers Association, further strengthening its role in advancing scholarship impact and best practices.
